How to Make Overnight Refrigerator Iced Tea

August is at an end, but the summer heat blazes on. In this kind of weather, I love making iced tea to quench my thirst. Overnight refrigerator iced tea is part of my daily routine. It’s the perfect morning pick me up that I know is waiting for me once I wake up. This is why it’s part of my Lazy Morning Hacks post!

Sun tea is often mentioned as the perfect way to make tea during the summer, but because the water does not boil during the process, it is not safe for people with compromised immune systems.

Overnight Refrigerator Tea doesn’t heat up the kitchen either, but is completely safe to make. You also don’t need to water it down by putting ice into your “iced tea”. The refrigerator will give you a drink completely cold and sparkling with flavor.

Here’s all you need:

  • Mason jars or reuseable bottles
  • Tea bags
  • Water
  • Stevia (optional)

Fill your jar or bottle with 8-12 oz of water per tea bag. Cap and leave overnight in the refrigerator!

Pull out your Overnight Refrigerator Tea with your breakfast or pack in your lunch for later. Sprinkle in some Stevia for a sugar-free and easily mixed in sweetener.

Ready. Set. Yum! That’s was easy, right?
